  • Developed in coordination with leading sidemount cave divers, SCUBAPRO's X-TEK SIDEMOUNT SYSTEM, with its modular design, quality components and independent air cell, allows you to build a fully customized rig to handle any recreational or technical sidemount dive plan.

    A modular approach with compact independent air cell (available in two sizes - 25lbs/12l or 45lbs/20l of lift) lets you build a system to suit your individual diving style. The harness system is fully adjustable for the perfect fit. It is even compatible with current X-TEK steel and aluminum backplates. The crotch strap is included in the air cells for added stability and security.

    A soft Airnet finished backpack ensures comfort during extended dives. Stainless steel grommets, D-rings and handles provide plenty of clip-on points and handholds. The new dump valve, corrugated hose and Balanced Power inflator (BPI) allow for pinpoint buoyancy control.

    Specific elbow and side bungees help to keep your dive profile streamlined. The bungees and clips also provide maximum tank support.

DIVE RITE NOMAD LS SIDEMOUNT SYSTEM

The next evolution in NOMAD Sidemount has come with the introduction of the NOMAD LS Sidemount System. The Nomad LS builds on its "L" series predecessors to be the most streamline and capable system in the family. The extremely durable exterior SuperFabric™ material is resistant to the elements of diving, whether diving on a quiet reef, pushing deep into a cave system, or scooting through a deck opening on a wreck dive. With the inflator and exhaust valves placed at the front/inside of the wing and not on the exterior, the valves are safe and free from exposure.

With 35 lbs (15.8 kg) of lift and a low profile design, the NOMAD LS performs in all levels of sidemount diving. With additional lift typically needed toward the lower back when sidemounting, the combination of its diamond shape and contour of the bladder create this lift achieving the optimum trim. A unique zero lift baffle at the top of the wing allows for air travel to the top dump, but prevents an air bubble from forming.

A deluxe-style webbing harness using pivot rings on the shoulders provides a comfortable and customizable fit for nearly any size diver. The SuperFabric™ shoulder strap pads provide added durability from abrasions along with a channel on the left shoulder strap for the exhaust valve’s pull dump cord allowing for easy access. The cross-chest strap and a 2-inch (5 cm) padded crotch strap holds the harness securely in place, preventing unwanted shifting or movement of the harness no matter what type of diving you’re doing. The harness on the LS is removable if it needs to be replaced in the future.

DIVE RITE TECH BUTTPLATE

  • When sidemounting stage tanks or rebreather bailout bottles, buttplate rails can be difficult to access if backmounted gear covers them up. Problem solved with our TECH BUTTPLATE.

    It is made of reinforced nylon to provide the proper amount of rigidity to hold tanks in position and eliminate sag. Its rectangular shape places tank attachment points at the edge of the diver's body, while outrigger hardware is easy to find due to its orientation facing outwards on the plate. The TECH BUTTPLATE can be mounted to the harness by using either the two 2" webbing loops, or using two stainless steel assembly screws (included). TECH BUTTPLATE includes a 2" webbing loop for crotch strap routing. A total of 7 stainless steel grommets allow for several mounting options for accessories.
