SCUBAPRO MK25 EVO/G260

  • This rugged reg system delivers solid breathing performance in all diving conditions and water temperatures. It is a great choice for technical divers, as the combination allows the greatest variety of hose routing to optimize your equipment configuration.

1st stage: Since its release in 2004 the MK25’s quickly made it to the very top of piston design regulators. It is very durable, reliable and delivers extra-high and effortless airflow, regardless of depth, tank pressure or breathing rate. Since 2016 the MK25 benefits from another substantial upgrade, SCUBAPRO's patented Extended Thermal Insulating System (XTIS), giving the reg its new name: MK25 EVO. The system let’s you enjoy all the advantages of an MK25 - regardless of how cold the water is! The XTIS makes this possible by fully isolating the mechanical elements of the first stage from the cold, increasing its freezing resistance 30 percent over the - already very freezing resistant - prior MK25 without compromising breathing performance. The key insulation system components are visible in blue.

New spring insulating coating, body insulating bushing, anti-freeze cap, bigger body and cap thread all work in concert with the XTIS to improve cold-water performance.

The MK25 EVO features a swivel turret with five high-flow LP ports (high flow ports deliver about 15 percent more air than conventional low pressure ports) for optimal hose routing. It also has an external intermediate pressure adjustment that allows technicians to maintain peak performance without the need for disassembly.

2nd stage: The G260 SCUBAPRO is air balanced for easy breathing at all times and made of a rugged, nylon fiberglass casing with freeze-resistant components, fitted with a dark anodized aluminum ring. Inside you have metal components (inlet tube, orifice, inhalation control knob and hose connector) to ensure excellent cold-water performance. It also offers a left-right hose attachment option, making it a great choice for tech diving configurations.
