The BC1 redefines traditional BC design. Every detail was reexamined. Every material and component was rethought. The new Atomic BC1 is designed for the diver who wants the absolute BEST available.
ATOMIC AQUATICS BladeFins uniquely combine two structural frame designs used in aircraft and Indy race cars. They capture water and contain the flow without spilling it over the edges. The flow of water is channelled down the blade and off the vertical stabilizer edge tips to deliver the power and thrust that only a paddle fin design can provide. The vertical stabilizers on fin tips keep the fin tracking straight up and down with every kick all the while the 2-frame design fully optimizes the paddle fin design and kicking effort.
EZ-LOK Buckle System: easily snap the buckle on and off and be confident that it will not release accidentally. Buckles rotate 180 degrees and straps adjust with a simple pull.
Our personal note: you can easily see the difference between the BladeFin and the X1 BladeFin: look at the amount of high quality black silicone used vs. the lower quality material, the coloured plastic. The BladeFin has way more of the expensive silicone material. This helps to bend the fin more in the middle thus to capture more water with every kick and provide more forwards power. Now look at the X1 BladeFin: you will see much less of the high quality silicone is used resulting in a heavier fin that is capturing less water. You will need more effort to produce the same power.
Available colors: blue, yellow, silver, red, pink, purple
Available sizes: S (men's US 5.5), M (6-8.5), L (9-11), XL (11.5-13)
Warranty: 1 year limited manufacturer’s warranty
1. Power-Loop Monocoque Structure: the engineering term Monocoque means “singleshell” utilizing the external skin to support most of the load area while power is applied through the frame rails.
2. Foot Pocket Power Plate: the Power-Loop Monocoque structure is connected to the sole plate (Power Plate) giving divers a solid feeling like the fin is “bolted” to the foot.
3. Power Rail: the frame rail design on each side of the fin mimics a backbone or spine connecting to the Monocoque.
4. Vertical Stabilizers: oversized stabilizers at fin tips keep the fin tracking straight up and down.
The ATOMIC AQUATICS X1 BladeFin has the backbone to control and maneuver in tight spaces, perfect for alternate kicking styles such as helicopter, scissors, backwards, flutter and frog-kicks. Another design attribute of the X1 BladeFin that contributes to improved alternate kicking styles is asymmetrical blade bend flexing which provides more feel and control of the fin to maneuver more effectively without folding.

1. Rigid Low-Profile Side Rails and Shorter, Stiffer Blade Makes turning and pivoting easier. Most fins have taller side rails for tracking and bending strength. The Atomic X1 BladeFin has lower profile rails with less side-to-side resistance that allow you to rotate, spin and turn more efficiently during alternate fin kicks.
2. Monocoque Structure and Power Plate Unique structural engineering design is connected to the low-profile rails, efficiently transferring power from the leg and foot to the rails.
3. Asymmetrical Blade Bend Flexing This design attribute is perfect for alternate kicking styles. Scissor kicks, frog-kicking and helicopter turning in tight circles put more emphasis on the up-kick or return stroke. For these kick styles, the X1 provides more feel and control of the fin to maneuver more effectively without folding under heavy load.
4. Vertical Stabilizers or Strakes Adds stability and lowers drag to keep the fin tracking straight as an arrow. Other fin designs use taller side rails to keep the fin tracking straight. By using strakes to straighten the fin, the X1 BladeFin does not add significant side drag like tall side rails.

After 50 years SCUBAPRO's JET FIN is still one of the most popular fins on the market – for a good reason. With its proven vented design that decreases drag on the up stroke and enhances thrust on the down stroke, the JET FIN delivers just the right amount of power and maneuverability. That's why to this day tech divers, deep divers, military divers, commercial divers, dive instructors as well as recreational divers still strap on their favorite pair of JET FINS before every dive. Mention "JET FIN" to virtually anybody who holds a diving certification and they'll know exactly what you're talking about. There are many imitations, but there is only ONE JET FIN.
JET FINS are available in a range of colors with a rugged stainless-steel spring strap that lasts forever and makes getting in and out of the fins as easy as can be. The JET FIN is covered by SCUBAPRO’S limited lifetime warranty (limited because commercial use is not covered), that means you break it - you get a new one.
Our personal note: we find the JET FIN to be cut relatively small, so you will probably need a size bigger than usual. Please have a look at the Scubapro sizing chart to choose the right size for you: click here for the link
The JET SPORT ADJUSTABLE is lightweight, comfortable and delivers solid kicking performance. It’s big, slightly stiff blade is a tri-material design featuring a pair of soft rubber panels framed in semi-stiff plastic and flanked by thin side rails, producing just the right amount of flex. There are also drag-reducing vents between the blade and foot pocket to decrease resistance on both up and down strokes. This combination generates propulsive kicking power, provides good stability and makes efficient work of frog and dolphin kicks. The fin is easy to maneuver too -- very responsive in turns and at backing you out of tight spots.

Split fins are fun and offer excellent maneuverability for getting in and out of tight places and making quick changes of direction.
By keeping the fins within your body's slipstream and using a relaxed flutter kick, you can comfortably cover a lot of ground without cramping leg muscles or straining ankles. Less energy expended means less air consumed and less overall fatigue, and that equals a more enjoyable time spent kicking around under water.
The TWIN JET is providing maximum propulsion with minimum effort. Vents where foot pocket and blade meet radically decrease drag on both up and down strokes. An extended soleplate allows you to maximize the amount of energy you expend on each kick without wasting energy.
Employing what's known as "propeller technology," the distinctive split hydrofoil shape of the blade allows water to flow between and around each of the twin blades, which flex independently to produce propulsion in much the same manner as a propeller. These blades are also angled to provide symmetrical power on both up and down strokes, creating a smooth and stable kicking motion that gets you moving without wearing you out. For divers looking for a comfortable fin that delivers a propulsive kick with minimal feedback.

The TWIN JET MAX features a dual-compound design that offers a slightly stiffer blade with a little more feedback than what you might expect in a flexier fin. Employing what's known as "propeller technology," the distinctive split hydrofoil shape of the TWIN JET MAX blade allows water to flow between and around each of the twin blades, which flex independently to produce propulsion in much the same manner as a propeller. These blades are also angled to provide symmetrical power on both up and down strokes, creating a smooth and stable kicking motion that gets you moving without wearing you out.
On the TWIN JET MAX semi-rigid side rails enhance stability, vents located between foot pocket and blade reduce drag, and the ultra soft foot pocket offers lots of comfort. An extended soleplate provides additional leverage to improve the transfer of power from foot to fin. The steel spring straps never need adjusting, making it even easier to don and doff the fin. The TWIN JET MAX delivers a pleasing kicking motion with minimum leg and ankle stress. Divers who like a slightly stiffer blade with a bit more feedback to their kick, and who appreciate solid propulsion and excellent maneuverability, will love the kicking performance and comfort of the TWIN JET MAX.

The Sherwood Elite is a lightweight fin with a high performance dual-composite fin blade featuring full-length power rails on each side of the fin blade and a central flex channel. When kicking, the rails keep the sides straight while the center flexes thus creating a V-shaped channel. The water is moving through this channel all along the fin blade to the tip of the fin, giving a powerful forward movement instead of being pressed to the side where energy is lost. The foot pocket is made of soft, flexible and very durable silicone.
