The Dive Rite Line Cutter is the cutting tool that every diver should carry. Sharper than a standard dive knife, the line cutter uses a 420 surgical grade stainless steel blade that can easily cut thru braided line, monofilament, or any other line entanglement. The line cutter is designed with a hole in the body to provide a point to better grip the cutter, even for divers wearing gloves.
Housed in a heavy-duty fiber reinforced nylon body, the blade is easily removed for cleaning and replacement. The line cutter fits securely into the 4 1/2" x 2 1/2" (11.4cm x 6.4cm) nylon pouch and uses a Velcro lanyard to prevent the line cutter from accidentally deploying. The pouch is equipped with 2 Velcro straps, allowing it to be mounted horizontally or vertically on webbing up to 2-inches (5.08 cm) wide.
Be sure to thoroughly rinse the line cutter and pouch and allow to air dry after each use.
The AKONA double blade line cutter was developed for divers, mariners, mountaineers, extreme sports adventurers and rescue service providers who demand a tool that delivers a swift, safe, efficient cut. The ergonomic design provides a clean, sharp and effortless cutting action. The double sided blade can cut through thick lines or car seat belts.
The line cutter fits securely into the nylon pouch and uses a Velcro lanyard to prevent the line cutter from accidentally deploying. The pouch can be mounted on any webbing up to 2-inches (5.08 cm) wide.
A Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) is a safety device that all divers should carry on every dive. The SMB allows divers to mark their location when making safety stops, completing decompression stops or signaling boats if they surface away from the boat. It also allows shore divers to mark their location.
The 72" high TRIDENT SURFACE MARKER BUOY is designed in high visibility orange so it can be easily seen from a distance. "Diver Below" is written in white letters over the length of the buoy. The inflator is easy to use: the buoy can be filled by pushing in the inflator valve tube while orally inflating the buoy. The air enters the tube through this valve at bottom. When not pushing on the valve it stays locked to prevent accidental deflation.
The buoy is made of rupture resistant nylon with a TPU coating for added strength. A velcro keeps the buoy neatly rolled up when not in use and it can be easily stored away or attached to your BCD with the included plastic clip.
