ZEAGLE F8 OCTOPUS

- The ZEAGLE F8 OCTOPUS is a balanced 2nd stage made for diving in cold water.
The redesigned heat sink dramatically increases surface area thus aiding in the heat exchange necessary to avoid freeze-up. In addition the heat sink and inlet tube are zirconium-plated for superior corrosion resistance.
A new inhalation diaphragm provides superior tear strength and improved response time to breathing (super soft silicone molded over a low friction disk). The improved exhaust valve ensures dryness and a lower exhalation effort.
Another revolutionary difference to most regulators is the seat-saving orifice. It is not screwed into its base, it can move. The sharp edge of the orifice is the part that is sealing against the teflon seat of the 2nd stage when you are not inhaling to stop the airflow. In common systems, when the reg is not used, these 2 parts are resting against each other, meaning the sharp edge of the orifice is cutting into the seat.
With the F8 these 2 parts don't rest on each other and the seat doesn't get used while in storage. Only when you turn on the tank (put air in the system) the flow of air will push the orifice against the seat, creating the seal.
The seat is made of soft silicone molded over a metal insert to deliver the firmness required for an airtight seal while maintaining the necessary elasticity to prevent leaking.
Redesigned front cover and inhalation effort control knob use co-molded components that provide the necessary grip, soft touch and ease of use.
Several color kits are available for the F8 2nd stage to perfectly match your gear or mark different gasses. -

ZEAGLE OCTO-Z II

- The OCTO-Z II features a light yet rugged design. Both the quick connect and corrugated hose fittings rotate (even under pressure) for easy, comfortable placement of the Octo-Z’s body. The Octo-Z II can be disconnected from the corrugated hose and be replaced be a garden hose to easily rinse the BC’s inside.
The OCTO-Z II is available in black and yellow. Zeagle offers an adapter to convert the high-flow connector on your hose to a regular inflator connector to use a regular BC with your hose.
Our personal note: a 2-in-1 Octo-Inflator combination is generally used to have less hoses going off your 1st stage thus be more streamlined and to have your alternative air source always ready in a place where you are used to look for. During a dive the inflator is one of the most used pieces of your gear so you won’t have any problems finding your alternative air source should you ever need it. In case of emergency you simply pass on your main regulator to your buddy and breath from the Octo-Inflator yourself.
You are also saving a bit of weight when traveling but be aware that an Octo-Inflator has a different hose connector than most regular BCs and dive shops usually don’t rent gear to fit with an Octo-Inflator so be sure to bring adaptors for emergencies.
Like the buttons on a regular inflator the buttons of an Octo-Inflator can usually be differentiated by color and touch/shape thus improving safety when inflating or deflating the BC. Both buttons are positioned on top of the housing, making them easier to operate when breathing off the unit without having to change hand positions. The purge cover is flexible to easily purge the reg should you need to use it. The BC can still be orally inflated through the mouth piece like on any standart BC. -

The industry standard for rugged design, versatility, and comfort. If you want a tough recreational buoyancy system, and also want it to adapt and change to meet your different diving needs, the RANGER is a system you won't outgrow. It’s been at the "top of the charts" for many years.
The Ranger was the first BC to combine high quality heavy duty construction, weight integration and rear flotation. Its introduction created a new category of buoyancy systems and made it the most imitated BC in history. But its incredible versatility is what keeps knowledgeable divers recommending it year after year. Our modular construction allows the Ranger to transition between tropical travel diving, rugged cold water diving in wet or dry suits, single or twin cylinders, and even technical diving (with optional bladder assemblies having up to dual 85 lb lift redundant bladder assemblies and easily mounted backplates).
Use the practical Bx Coupler to rinse the inside of the bladder. Simply unscrew the Bx Coupler from the Power Inflator, and screw onto a standard garden hose.
Constructed of heavily reinforced 1050 denier ballistic nylon, the Ranger is compatible with a variety of options and accessories, including bladders, pockets, hard backplates, and custom gear attachment components.
Our personal note: All RANGER BCs are very durable, you will certainly be able to do hundreds of dives with either of them. The RANGERs are highly adjustable and you can configure them to your specific needs. We love them! We don't think it's the best solution as a permanent BC for using double tanks but it's a great option to have if you are using a double tank only occasionally.

The RANGER JR is a quality BC made specifically for children. Using the same rugged construction as the legendary Ranger BC, the RANGER JR utilizes our Personal Fit System to let you change out specific sections of the BC so it can grow right along with your child.
The waist panel of the RANGER JR can be adjusted out to add several inches of growth room in the waist area. The shoulder section can be replaced with larger sections when the child starts inching up past the "knee high to a grasshopper" stage. Combined with the same quality in material and construction, this flexibility ensures this BC will last for many years, so you won’t have to buy a new BC after every growth spurt. (Unlike those running shoes.)
ZEAGLE RANGER LTD

The new LTD now comes standard in Black, a good looking, rich color that compliments any suit or other gear color combination. The shoulder is designed with the new super duty Airloc buckle that will swivel to adjust the harness to the body’s contour to eliminate binding and restriction of movement at the chest and underarm areas.
With the addition of harness type webbing and a new threading arrangement the diver can easily add more D-rings and other accessories conveniently on the shoulder. This feature will now allow the technical and accessory minded diver to further set-up his BC to what he needs for the type of diving he is doing. We have also added a right-hand shoulder dump with a pull knob located conveniently on the inside edge of the right shoulder pad. The dump valve acts also as an additional safety overpressure valve.
