- In partnership with Atomic Aquatics, ZEAGLE engineered over 20 different improvements on everything from inner mechanisms and materials to exterior controls and aesthetics. The F8 breathes better, works harder and lasts longer than any other regulator they’ve ever made.
1st stage: The F8 1st stage has a dry-sealed spring chamber (to stop freezing at water temperatures below 40 degrees F). All delicate parts of the 1st stage including the main spring are sealed behind the clear hydrostatic diaphragm away from the effects of salt or other contaminants in the water, making it environmentally sealed. It is very low in profile, barely extending above the tank valve, and places the low pressure hoses directly out to the sides, in a pattern preferred by many divers.
New Neoflon seat: The conical precision high-pressure valve provides much greater reliability and service life compared to conventional designs, while improving responsiveness and performance at all breathing rates.

2nd stage: A new inhalation diaphragm provides superior tear strength and improved response time to breathing (super soft silicone molded over a low friction disk). The improved exhaust valve ensures dryness and a lower exhalation effort.
Another revolutionary difference to most regulators is the seat-saving orifice. It is not screwed into its base, it can move. The sharp edge of the orifice is the part that is sealing against the teflon seat of the 2nd stage when you are not inhaling to stop the airflow. In common systems, when the reg is not used, these 2 parts are resting against each other, meaning the sharp edge of the orifice is cutting into the seat.
With the F8 these 2 parts don't rest on each other and the seat doesn't get used while in storage. Only when you turn on the tank (put air in the system) the flow of air will push the orifice against the seat, creating the seal.
The seat is made of soft silicone molded over a metal insert to deliver the firmness required for an airtight seal while maintaining the necessary elasticity to prevent leaking.
Redesigned front cover and inhalation effort control knob use co-molded components that provide the necessary grip, soft touch and ease of use.

The MAGNUM PRO is now a pneumatically balanced 2nd stage regulator. 1st stage: Since its release in 2004 the MK25’s quickly made it to the very top of piston design regulators. It is very durable, reliable and delivers extra-high and effortless airflow, regardless of depth, tank pressure or breathing rate. Since 2016 the MK25 benefits from another substantial upgrade, SCUBAPRO's patented Extended Thermal Insulating System (XTIS), giving the reg its new name: MK25 EVO. The system let’s you enjoy all the advantages of an MK25 - regardless of how cold the water is! The XTIS makes this possible by fully isolating the mechanical elements of the first stage from the cold, increasing its freezing resistance 30 percent over the - already very freezing resistant - prior MK25 without compromising breathing performance. New spring insulating coating, body insulating bushing, anti-freeze cap, bigger body and cap thread all work in concert with the XTIS to improve cold-water performance.
The MK25 EVO features a swivel turret with five high-flow LP ports (high flow ports deliver about 15 percent more air than conventional low pressure ports). It also has an external intermediate pressure adjustment that allows technicians to maintain peak performance without the need for disassembly.
2nd stage: ike the original A700, the A700 CARBON's casing is full metal to take advantage of the extremely high heat exchange rate which makes this second stage such a great choice for cold-water diving. The screw-down front cover, in place of metal, is hand-made out of carbon fiber - the same material you find on aircraft and high-speed race cars. - This is a good entry-level reg for medium to warm water temperatures. It is a proven and reliable reg system, easy to maintain, easy to use and easy on the budget.
1st stage: The MK2 EVO is a downstream piston-style first stage. It comes with SCUBAPRO's patented Extended Thermal Insulating System (XTIS) fully isolating the mechanical elements of the first stage from the cold and hereby increasing freezing resistance by an average of 50 percent over the previous MK2 first stage.
A new spring insulating bushing and coating, insulating piston bushing, insulating sleeve and a new antifreeze cap contribute to the increase in freezing resistance.
Its body is 3.5mm smaller than its predecessor but houses an oversized piston by 1.6mm that provides better breathing performance by increasing airflow by 15 percent.

1st stage - XT1:The balanced first stage provides consistent gas flow regardless of depth and tank pressure. The completely environmentally sealed diaphragm design protects against internal corrosion, contaminants and freeze.
2nd stage - XT2: Of course also the 2nd stage is pneumatically balanced to give consistent gas pressure for easy inhalation. An adjustable design helps the diver to fine tune cracking pressure so breathing resistance matches the diver's personal preference.
The venturi-system directs airflow from the valve directly to the mouthpiece producing smooth inhalation and directs airflow away from the mouthpiece while resting at the surface. It can be adjusted by a dive/pre-dive switch that is easily operated even with bulky gloves.
The hose can be attached either on the right or the left side of the reg making it the perfect choice for sidemount dive configuration.
